Account Summary

Now if you want to check your Account summary in Mtnl Mumbai you have to registe r for their email address.It is compulsory. Without registering for their Email address you cant view the account summary. They told me that around 100 to 200 people visit to check their usage and so their is heavy load on server. Hence they have made it compulsory.Note:- I have asked them should i have to pay for the email address. They told me that they have made it free.

i had already registed on 22 april and my email id is still working but then also i am unable to view my account summary .it says plz register.Now if i register once more these bitches are going to charge me trust me it's a harassment trap from mtnl for email fee to earn.My solution keep calling 1504 it's free...and ask my usage.

did you register an alternate email id?? casue you have to register with mtnl.net.in to see the account summary...

i had an hotmail as alternate email .ok changed now see what happens will post tommorrow...

it asks specifically to register for a mtnl account...that`s where the option was inthe beginning.. now that i have registered an mtnl account... i cant see that option anymore.. only the one to create the alternate email id which i hadalready filled in.btw you guys telling me that you can chk your triband usage?????? seriously?cause i can.. and always could.. 😛

mtnl r asking subscribers to register a mtnl email account although u might have created one when u subscirbed to the mtnl triband service in the beginning. after registering for the 2nd email account u can see under view services that u have only one mtnl email id and not TWO. secondly, u can also login to ur old/1st email account using ur telephone no. as ur password. for eg. if ur phone no. on which u have registered ur triband connection is 11111111 then goto MTNL Email Website and enter ur old/1st userame under User ID and 11111111 under password. So now u have 2 mtnl email accounts instead of one. But u wont be charged for the 2nd account, thanx to the server crash.

Furthermore, i also called one of the CC Centers and they told me that they will DEFINITELY be coming out with a unlimited 24hr plan. But they havent decided on the fee or the speed yet. Also they will come out with the plan by the end of the month or during diwali ie.1st week of november. Secondly, i asked them when will they display the sessions history section and the usage between 1st and 7th october on the account webpage. They said that the servers had crashed on 1st-2nd october due to overload of ping requests on the sessions history section of the account page. So they r trying to find a way to prevent this from happening in the future by increasing servers or change the website code completely. When this will happen is still not definite but again the guy said the account website shud be fully operational by 1st week of november.

hey my downloads available forthe motnh hasnt changed in arnd 10 days still shows up as 148.98 available for the month.. dunno how much more i can use.. thought the total mbs downloaded is increasing.. anyone else having this problem?? please reply soon!!

Please dont make such cruel jokes. I really had my hopes up for unlimited broadband in mid october but now they are crushed. Don't give me hope and crush them again... :blink:

i think that guy is from delhi. to whom the cc people said that they would come out with an unlimited plan..it firsts gets decided in delhi and then comes to mumbai as delhi is the head office.. and if this is true then mtnl might just come out with an unlimited plan.. an they need too i think cause they have stiffer competition in delhi...

yah that makes sense.. the competition airtels giving them isn't too bad.. i hope this is the start of a major price war.. and right now i dont care if it is a joke. . which it most likely isn't coz i doubt anyone wud joke bout sumthing like this.. anyways.. its good tht ppl who know stuff related to this .. share their knowledge.. its not their fault.. mtnl takes time. .but at least its good to know htey are in the right direction!!

ya its a darn PSU.. so obviously it takes a lot of time..but then i think they do realise that they are loosing customers every month... i think i read it in economic times.. and as they provide broadband over telephone lines. they can very welll woo customers with an unlimited plans.. as i feel that the current combo plan isnt doing them too much good anyways..
