NU Bill Rs 10594 !

I just received a bill well over Rs 11000 for my MTNL Triband 590 NU schemeamong other things it says Triband usage charges - Rs 10594 for the month of SeptemberI had used my account very carefully in september always restarting at 12:15 and again at 7:45 everyday . Infact at the end of the month i had 20MB balance left from my 500MB according to the Triband Usage site.When i could access the session history i could have proved that my usage was less than 500 mb for the month but the session history page is gone.At the start of October i once got a chance to log into the Triband usage page and it was showing a balance of 300 something MB. This was before the usage page went down. Probably somehow the server automatically changed my scheme to 399 scheme for some period. I guess during this period my bill was also issued and all the Night downloads were also charged . Now when i check my Triband usage it shows 590 scheme correctly along with 450 mb remaining.The September bill also correctly deducts Rs 590 as Monthly Plan Rent.Now I have a Rs 11000+ bill to pay.I called 1504 and they told me to complain at the MTNL Exchange. Has anyone tried that before ? Is there even a small chance that they will act on complaints ? If anyone has succesfully complained at MTNL please reply.Also i think some other MTNL NU users may also get such astronomical bills this month. If anyone else has the same problem please post your bill amount here.
 
I got a bill for 8k back in july, took me 2 months to get it corrected and i still had to pay a thousand bucks although even i had not used up my monthly quota. I suggest u go to ur billing office right away and get it corrected. Calling anyone won't help. Even then they might give u and arbitrary figure...but if u got the time and the patience, don't pay and ask for proof.
 
what i'd suggest is, if u r in delhi, just go directly to kidwai bhawan, janpath...talk to Mr. Bharti, GM Broadband directly and ur issue will be solved...don't sit on it or try it over the phone...just go and meet him in person...
 
I too had a problem but got solved......Lisen my Scuzzy Hard drive go to u r nearby exchange give a written application and mention the last date u saw u r account details and request to them to check the session history for the same .Give the application to AOTR of u r area and also be in touch with him.It's the AOTR who has the authority to change u r bill amount.Rest Trust The GOD and if u r on True Side Nothing Can Let u DownKeep Faith and have fun follwing Some Dhakas To his Office as i did just for 2600 bill u know u r amount is much more considerable.Also do not forget to take the Direct number of AOTR As it may be useful in Checking the status Of the Problem.Would take a Week and u rResult Is there.....Good Luck
 
Thanks a lot for your repliesI live in Mumbai and i guess going to the Exchange and complaining to the AOTR will probably be my next step. But this couldnt have happened at a worst time. Im at the end of my Engg sem and i got a hell lot of tests and submissions in the next 2 weeks.
 
The GM Broadband Delhi is Mr. Chaube. But ur right that Mr. Bharti is the one to pursue for billing problems in Delhi. I got my bill rectified and the correct bill hand delivered to my place sitting at home (told him that i was a senior citizen with a broken foot 😛 ...though am just 18) though it took those buggers 2 months and constant reminders thru phone calls and faxes. These guys are still in a world of their own when it comes to CC. They screw up and have the audacity to ask us to leave everythin aside and maro chakkars of their head office.

mtnl suckzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz all kind of prb we can find here........i hvin frequent disconnection after 10minz damn shi
 
Just sent a written complaint to MTNL AOTRThe Manager wasnt present so had to give it to 2nd in command. She reassured me that such things happen and they will fix it soon.Somehow i wasnt that convinced.Anyway nothing much to do now other then while(Problem_not_solved){ call mtnl; delay(1 day);}sorry i cant call or contact anyone of you ,I am really busy.If u are an Engg student u will know what 5 submissions, 4 tests and 2 presentations in 2 week means.

Just to add one very simple thingWhen you check your usage on Date X, take a full screen screenshot and save it with the clock showing the date.This way you have an ace up your sleeve in case someone screws around with your account plan or the server goes down. You can then post to a paper or something or just plain send it to MTNL as a written complaint.Once again, Saboot Saboot Saboot 🙂
 
I got a bill of 22700 on my DSL_trib AA account! while my account usage is and has been 0!what rubbish!Not going to pay anyway..give them a complaint letter if they dont fix..get the line cut
