Somebody first educate the journalist's..wat is low in India is just the monthly charge and u cant do anything in that charge..just try doin the things Broadband is meant for and u will see how that Rs. 1/MB turns the connection into one of the costliest in the world..

Not one journalist reports the lack of unlimited internet in India, how is the public at large goin to get educated with such crap reporting ? and if public isn't educated then mass demand wont be there & if mass demand is not there..how can we ever hope to get unltd high speed connections?

these (type of) jounalists who are advising public about internetthemselves never use internet.

they wont even knw what true broadband as per trai is ?? (24/7 always on and min 256kbps)

maybe one of us in this forum should write to the editor of that paper/article and tell him
to check the facts before reprting it

WRONG! Its UPTO 256Kbps and not MIN 256Kbps. Thats why ISPs are getting away with giving us crappy speeds even on 256Kbps connections... :angry:

And yes, reporters need to be educated on what broadband really is...
