Airtel Broadband in Mumbai

Hi,

I called up Airtel for broadband for a new connection but they say that they dont have a cable coming across in my area.

I stay in Mumbai, malad west, Orlem, dominc colony. does anyone in malad orlem have Airtel broadband connection?

i really want to switch over to airtel as there price r reasonable
 
Such a big company and its available in only selected areas . . it is possible that AirTel people think that days of cable connections are numberd ... and thats the reason they dont want to invest in outdated technology?
 
mumbai is huge and it would take a lot of effort for them to get into every corner of the city... taking permissions from the local authorities and probably the local dons... wireless is a safer bet. too bad airtel has nothing to offer on that front.
