Hi,I have a WiFi setup as followsTel. Line -> ADSL Router (D-Link 502T) -> Wi-Fi Router (D-Link DI-524) ->Desktop via ethernet (Realtek) Plus I use 2 laptops on the Wi-Fi .....I got all that setup, but if I want to port forward for use on p2p like Azureus, do I need to do that on both Routers separately?I don't think I will be able to forward the port direclty on the ADSL Router as it goes through the Wi-Fi Router....Thanks

Forward the port on the ADSL router and add the computer in the DMZ on you wireless router......that should work, I guess.

In ur case, the wireless device must acting as router and the 502T as the modem..therefore, i think port forwardiing is required only on the Wi-FI device

I am on the same boat... D-Link router (from MTNL) and Netgear WiFi routerthere are two options that worked for me. fitst one is forwarding all ports from ADSL router to WiFi and putting your PC n DMZ of WiFi. Other option is using ADSL router in bridge mode. In this mode it will act just as a modem and WiFi router will do the routing. You will need to forward ports on your WiFi router only. Reserving a perticular IP for your PC (On your WiFI router) thru MAC based IP reservation will make both options robust (Your Laptop, SIP Phone or any other device wont get that IP, so the ports will always be forwarded to the PC).

Hey, the DMZ on Wi-Fi with forwarding on ADSL worked, thanks so much... Also, netfreak, I would like to know how to use the oher option also ( use ADSL router in bridge mode)... netfreak, thaks for the tip about using static DHCP (MAC based IP reservation.. ), so much better than trying to disable DHCP and configure it all manually...
