^^as sushub said - it's not a historical. the mistakes you point out are probably intentional to drive the plot... in the end it's the message that one should make out from it... how do you enjoy a movie if you're just going to be picking out mistakes?
 
i love pointing out mistakes in movies. but its more fun when the movie sucked otherwise and the mistakes have no part in the storyline.
 
I find that when i try to look for mistakes the little voice in my head start's talking and won't shut up and then I miss the dialogs until the next scene change and then I'm omg what did I miss 😛. That and wailing babies...
 
slumdog millionaire is a good movie, but i dont think it deserves to be in the oscars.
 
shitty movies are pretty regular on the oscar charts. i loved juno but it too was not oscar material 🙂
 

Yes Tingya was indeed good movie compared to SDM. It too showed poverty of farmers and the life they live. But it didn't displayed any bad taste which many noticed after watching SDM
