hiFriendsOverlapping charge timings. There were several occasions when I have been charged more than once for a particular period of internet session. Start time End time Total Time Usage(KB)04/07/05:07:36:34 04/07/05:08:26:14 00:49:40 291104/07/05:09:42:35 04/07/05:13:28:15 03:45:40 1387204/07/05:11:37:55 04/07/05:14:36:09 02:58:14 148404/07/05:16:50:12 04/07/05:20:59:32 04:09:20 166704/07/05:17:30:28 04/07/05:23:09:28 05:39:00 10710504/07/05:21:45:15 04/07/05:23:17:15 01:32:00 7746So, I have been charged once for the time period of 9:42 am to 1:28 pm, and again on the same date for the time period of 11:37 am to 2:36 pm separately. So the period of 11:37 am to 1:28 pm is overlapping, and according to the statement I am paying for this session twice. As you can see from the details, these sort of overlapping sessions have occurred on numerous occasionsSo please tell me how can is this possible ?BSNL charged me 13,000/- Rs in a month

just keep this data saved and meet the GM Broadband...i believe it will be solved...also make sure that u don't pay the bill in any case!!!

Are you sure that nobody else is also logging into your account at the same time? I have seen anothe such instance where a connection was made 24 hours a day for a full month while simultaneous downloads of short timings were also recorded for that same account. Chances are that someone else is also using your connection 🙁

Your account is being used by someone else, so change your password; thats the first thing you need to do. Next, install firewall and run antivirus that should help clean any trojans on your computer.Your password can be stolen quite easily (if you are vulnerable), I'll put up a tutorial on how to do it soon...but I fear the misuse of it more than awarness being spread.

Guys but i think you can use you BSNL broadband account only from your phone. (ie) Ur broadband useraname and password are tied up with your phone number.

Can anyone confirm?

Thats not true Sudar. They havnt enabled that functionality yet. They said they would in course of time but not now.

Out area JE told me yesterday that multiple sessions for a user can be blocked and in our area it is blocked.

It's not tied. You can use someone else's username/password as well, given that you do have broadband connection on your phone line.
