Hello Everyone!!
I've been using BSNL 500 Plan for nearly an year now, but facing a strange problem for past 2 weeks .. experiencing slow download speeds all the time, infact the Downstream rate in my modem UT300R2 is fluctuating a lot, never got my full speed of 180-190 KB/s which i used to get normally!!

can anyone tell wat maybe the possible reason behind this.
im attachin the screens for downrate in my modem settings 🙂

but home 500 plan speed is 256 kbps (32 kBps) is it not? then why should you "expect" 1400 kbps (180 kBps) all the time?"never got my full speed of 180-190 KB/s which i used to get normally!!" 😛your screenshots looks like downstream SNR (signal to noise ratio) is a bit low, ask bsnl to check you line for connection signal quality...

180/190 kBps is certainly more than what you should be getting according to your plan. enjoy till it lasts. 😀
since you were getting a constant 180/190 kBps but facing problems only now, and looking at the fluctuating snr margin, i think there might be some road digging around your place which might be causing disturbance to your line. ask BSNL to check the line.

my bad, the 500 plan has 2mbps speed. so you should be getting that 190 kBps.
