I am also a dataone user.. can u explain what is BOD

BOD stand for Bandwidth on DemandWhen you activate a different service your can enjoy the bandwidth it comes with. Now if let say your Plan is 256 Kbps on this it may be difficult to have Video chat. so you are left with 2 options option 1> upgrade your plan to say 1 Mbps. and pay for the full monthor option 2> activate BOD. when you activate it you will get speed's of 1 Mbps so you can have a video chat. as soon as you are done with it. you can disable BODso you will be charged BOD rates for that session only.

1) Well what are the charges/tariff?

2) Is it applicable during 2 am to 8 am?

Can somebody clarify this?

Hi sandeep,

If our bsnl AEO/Je is to be believed it has been activated. but the constraint is that you have to adhere to that service for half a month, If i understood what he said, It will be like you would be subscribed for that plan temporaily.
wait for some time till one billing is done.

Regards,

that's the catch. What if i try today and the billing cycle 27th? So temporarily i would be subscribed for 15 days from now. So half month in Sep bill and hal month in Oct bill?

Our are JE is yet to get back to me with details.

Yeah thanks for raising this doubt, I forgot to mention that it is only for first half of a month, I am not sure what is the use of it in the second half of the month, To be frank the BSNL ppl are se B) lf confused.

Does that mean that BoD will be active from 1 to 15 only?

Why not BSNL charge on hourly basis? Say 1 M for one hour of usage?

Okay if it was 15 days will the data limit also be iincreased 50% of higher scheme and 50% of lower plan?

Noooo! click on the button `Yes" (confirmation) and be ready for the surprise. You'll get another notice, something like (not the exact words).. `This is a subscription service.. please contact your vendor' 🙁
