Hello folks,

I have shifted to my HomeTown. My home is in a village in Uttar Pradesh. There is no broadband service provider available here due to which not able to wfh properly. The mobile service providers dont have good speeds(only Vi works with network fluctuations).
So I am looking for affordable satellite broadband connections in the range of 2500-3000 INR. I do not need 100mbps speed, 30-40mbps reliable connection will do the work. I am willing to pay first time installation charges.
Are there any options available with the above criteria. I will be really thankful for any advice.

The Satellite BB providers mostly serve the B2B segment in India and you cannot get 30mbps in a satellite internet connection and latencies range from 200 to 300ms unless its Starlink which hasn't been launched here. I would advice you to buy an outdoor LTE cpe such as the Mikrotik sxt lte or a TP-Link MR600 and connect yagi antennas and use your Vi sim card in it to get a reliable connection.

@Nithishsaba Really appreciate your answer. I have researched further and found TP-Link MR600 to be a good option. The sad thing is that it is not available online anymore. This supports LTE+ plus mode mode with external LTE antennas. Os there any similar router that I can use?
@Nithishsaba I have zeroed out on another TPlink router that has detachable external antennae and telephoney option. Here is the Amazon link. Let me know what do you think.

Try looking on olx if u r ok with it. coz these routers are on great demand.

I think you are referring to BSNL's optic fiber connection. In my area there are no service provider that are providing any such service.
No, there is a thing called airfiber in bsnl which uses point to point antennas from your nearest bsnl tower. this service is not availalable everywhere, u have to enquire the nearest Bsnl exchange that this service is available in your area or not.

The N300 seems to be a good choice as it also has a voice calling feature. Please be advised that if you use Vi postpaid unlimited plan, you have to use minimum of 120 minutes of calling i guess. else, u will be moved to an another plan. please refer to the t&c of vi for more info regarding this
