Any Alphion 1143 Black expert?

I have the same model. I use it as bridge mode and use simple Netgear router for PPPOe. I get both IPv4 and IPv6 this way. Btw I am on same firmware as you and IPv6 is available under LAN settings. Check that out first.
 
@adarsh_07 I found it extremely hard to setup QOS on the thing. Having taken the general steps to enable QOS, it was just not working . So I am just running as it is. My area BSNL guys make it extremely difficult for me to put it into Bridge mode too. So I have no option to use it as it is

Regarding the firmware, I think it is hard to get Alphion firmware. If it is available , I will link the same to you soon.
Atleast in my place, IPv6 is not available by the backend I guess. If you are sure you will get IPv6 if you do a firmware update then go ahead with it. Otherwise as BSNL gives a Public IPv4 IP still , it is not worth the effort
 
@shashankb Contact Alphion and they will provide firmware upgrade to put it into bridge mode.
I gave them my ont serial number and they changed from routing to bridge modevia firmware upgrade.My ont is 100c.

@adarsh_07 Contact alphion directly, they'll do firmware upgrade.
 
I did contact them. Their bangalore team did not pickup phone , Chennai team shooed me away by saying , contact ISP
 

Okay.
Last time I raised a technical ticket in their site and they contacted me via email and solved my issue.
Now technical ticket link isn't working properly.
