So I have been using Tenda AC10 AC1200 router on bridgemode with Huawei Router given by Airtel.

When I was on 40mbps plan, I used to get around 46-49mbps on both the routers(not simultaneously though).

When I switched to 100mbps plan, Tenda worked great giving me around 120mbps of speed.

But now when I switched to 300mbps and then 1gbps plan, tenda router's download speed goes to around 360mbps maximum and upload is stucked at around 270-290mbps maximum. Tried different servers, different speedtest platforms but tenda router stucks upload speed at around 270.

But while using huawei router given by airtel, maximum speed over wifi on the same devices(POCO F1 and iPad) goes to 480mbps, and it doesnt lock upload speed at 270, basically I have symmetric speed with huawei. What might be the problem?

Ps: Both the tests are performed multiple times, being close to router while no other devices are consuming bandwidth.

Ofcourse Huawei as a router fails because the range is pretty shit. But Tenda one got some serious issue. Please suggest what to do.

Also I am using the ethernet cable provided by Tenda with their router claiming it to be 1gig supoorted.

@AAK I do not know how to find out that but in terms of range, Tenda one is great. Well how to compare the wifi quality in terms of speed of both routers? I mean any signatures?

There is no way to change network mode, and it is running on 80Mhz already. Power is high, every setting is pretty much exhausted to max.

Tried with channels as well. I guess for range I gotta use Tenda and for better speed it would be Huawei. BTW which router should I go with which can perform way better than huawei?

Something like this

Also, what speeds you get on Tenda when you are right next to it?

For gigabit on wifi get this
