How to resolve frequent disconnection problem on BSNL Broadband?

frequent link light blinking ,data light comes ,usable internet for 10-20 secs ,then gone. just recently increased to 10mbs from 8 in port at exchange on my request.he insisted to keep in 8mbps but i said i have been on that speed stable, so he changed it .
distance from exchange to my home - 1.5kms
i have already used 9996kbps downstream rate in 2018 for whole 6 months with no problem, so i dont want engineer to tell me my connection is unstable due to 10mbps .
my snrs and attenuation - after 2 days of 10mbps good speed ,connectivity suddenly yesterday evening i got reduced to 4800's downstream.
snr margin - 3.8 106.6 attenuation -33 18.8
i read some posts about dslam changing the speed by itself automatically and tell the line man to decrease number of joints in wires to my home.. please guide me if i have to keep some more points in mind to keep my 10mbps at any cost.
by the way my phone instrument has no noise ,its perfect . i connect my cable directly to modem ut300 bsnl.never used a splitter for a long time now.. been all ok till now.
also i read some earthing problems might cause this kinda disconnections ..but after line man sometimes fixes ,i get good for few weeks or months ,hope i get some ideas here to keep on my speed. thanks

your SNR of -3.8 is kinda low

you should get a splitter tbh to filter out the telephone frequencies from DSL.

thanks for replying, they fixed it. i asked for joints if there is any,, but lineman said there is no joint at all.. but he was telling sometihng new has to be changed in line and he will talk to engineer about it.
now snr - 19.6 27.8
attenuation - 28 16
downstream rate is as by plan - 9996
stable now. line man said no further problem should arise. hope to stay atleast this weekend .

You will notice a lot of problems with ADSL if wire is hanging above the ground. Better switch to Fiber if available

those line stats are way better. do check the error count though as very high error count (in thousands) means there is occasional disturbance on the line.

but as @shashankb suggested go with fiber if available.

are you talking about these errors ? i dont have idea about this , also no option of fiber in my place .. and with covid looks like its gona be forever now. please shed about these errors.. thank you so much for your viewpoints.

Errors usually happen when there is some interference on the line. I think the number on the high numbers on the right are upstream errors. This level of upstream errors mean you have noise on your line, you should really get a filter+splitter.

thanks.. but i dont hear any noise in phone ,i dont use it.. so i put it straight into modem.. and yes they are upstream tab with high numbers. so if i get the filter splitter.. what can i gain .. ? will my download speed increase ,now i have 7.68 to 7.8 mbps . at 10mbps plan.

oh i see , thanks,but i dont play much online games tho. but would like to ask whats port forwarding in torrent to make it faster download.. any idea about that pls..
