Can you please share result of ping and trace to mumbaispeedtest1.airtel.in

That's speedtest server within their network and thus eBGP won't have an impact here. This should help us in setting expectation of best possible latency one can get to Mumbai.

Airtel is still providing VDSL connection in my area. Can you please let me know what plans are applicable to me?

Interesting. So lowest you can get is 58ms to Mumbai. Bit high if we look purely based on distance but again path would be quite odd considering the hard terrain.

Now you can focus on why server in Mumbai was giving you 75ms as you shared earlier. That's 17ms more than expected.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting to hear back from @Stroov ha ha. Haven't found anyone online who has taken on Xstream fiber by LCO from my place or adjoining.

I am from jharkhand. ping issue is really bad in LCO cities

Airtel Support team here informed me that 90 percent work is done and will enable LL by next week. Fingers crossed

@Khalidahmed8 I don't trust their words. They are saying this for a long time. Same for Pings.

Thank you for the update Khalid bro. However just like @imdarkray I am also sceptical about anything Airtel says about the landline service. However, it could also be that since Guwahati is a prominent town of Assam, they could introduce voice services there. You might have better odds than us, I think.
Also, another indication which Airtel gave me regarding landline services is that now on Airtel Thanks app, in every plan under Voice Calls it now shows "N/A", earlier it showed "Unlimited". 😭

Bro barabanki is just few kms away from Lucknow. Also BBK was the 3rd city to get LCO model based fiber, and then also we do not have any landline facility even after having so many users.

Okay it's been 3 weeks I'm waiting for someone's feedback but he's not to be seen. Anyone else from Kolkata or adjacent area with LCO airtel connection? Please...
