The app supports device to device speed test as well which is quite nice
 
I cannot go above 170Mbps on device to device WiFi5. What could be the bottle neck.... Link speed on both devices show 433Mbps.

One more thing I see on my old retired Honor Holly 2Plus WiFi4 (2.4Ghz)device...... all new phones show link speed as 72Mbps but this old device shows link speed as 135Mbps and device to device transfer also crosses 100Mbps.
 
Read the comment at the top, 50% drop is expected. Since all the traffic is sent first from phone to router then router to second phone.

my link speed is 866 mbps so I am getting the same result as well

ok.... why difference in upload and download speed.... I am also seeing the same...
