Both are different routers. So you may need to buy both

Ofcourse you can. But the internet providers Optilink router will not give a good Wifi sometimes. You can face packet losses , low speeds , random disconnections , etc. That is a real pain if you are taking conference calls using Zoom/Meet. So you might want to add your own router with that.

Again not every ISP router has that problem , but its there for many people

Optilink branded instrument is an Optical Network Terminal or ONT, which is necessary if you have to get an FTTH connection, it does the work of media conversion from optical to electrical. On top of this you ca buy any normal router like Archer C6, and bridge the ONT to this router for a good performance. Or you can simply use the ONT itself as a router, because it is a combo device. But most ONTs a have 2.4g band Wifi only, so you can buy a cheaper ONT and bridge it to TP-Link Archer C6 for good performance

You can access internet with Optilink ONT but do not require Archer C6, but not viceversa
