How is Excitel Broadband so cheap?

I was asked to pay 1000rs. for dumb ONU. but I denied.
 
and here i am worried if my dumb onu stops working would they force me to their wireless router lol. hopefully i would still be able to keep my current setup.
 
my LCO said he will get it, so i am waiting still ... and i have still not activated the connection even though the wifi ONT is still sitting on the desk in the box ....

excitel uses mac address based authentication. I cloned the mac address on my TP-Link router and bridge mode is working properly.

Note : you have to use mac address listed on excitel portal other than ONT mac address.
