I have been using Excitel Fibre for around 9 months now. My experience is sort of ok. But last evening my connection went down and they resolved the issue by 1PM today after many calls & complaints.

I have not used Airtel or Jio fibre, so I would like to know how are these two in terms of support..... particularly if the connection goes down in the evening.

What I have experienced with Excitel is that they are not keen to resolve issue at the earliest but at their own convenience. If you call their CC number, you would have to wait 15-20mins in que. And after that they will start with the nonsense...... restart the router, unplug wires etc etc. They act as if they are working very hard on your problem but they are actually doing nothing.

And these days internet is essential for everything studies, entertainment, banking, shopping and more so in a lockdown.

I am really annoyed with the Excitel response and have my renewal of subscription after 20days..... so if Airtel or Jio have good support, I might switch.

By what time in evening, the internet went down

long term excitel user here - their customer care service is shit. like when you talk to them you will feel like you're actually losing your brain cell. its better to try n talk to a monkey than their customer care reps.

excitel customer care? Always call lco first.
99% fault is last mile under lco, so save time n call lco directly.
That said Airtel is better support wise n their lines too are better installed aka less of overhead wires atleast in Delhi.

yes, Airtel cabling at least in my area is much more professionally done with anchors and stuff.

Seeing the time when ur internet went down. I say its not bad, lco opens generally after 10 a.m in morning and chances for complaint attending after 7 p.m is rare unless its a major fault affecting 100 of customers. Rest @igloo is right just call lco and open a ticket on myexcitel app instead of talking to customer care. Like most of isps excitel cc is shit. If u have airtel better try it but dont disconnect excitel immediately, just stop recharging. I doubt that airtel too attends complaint after 7 p.m in the area we live

I always do that but lately LCO says first raise complaint with Excitel Customer Care...

I have Jio & Airtel fibre also.... but wiring over electrical poles is as shabby as Excitel...

Don't worry about the unprofessional wiring , when it comes to the customer service they are the best ones that money can buy, Airtel is preferred if it is not via LCO , otherwise it is jio fibre

I've had a bad experience with jio customer care in Pune. My connection stays down for 3-4 days in a row. They assign a service engineer who would just close the service request himself and mark it as resolved. The ping times are ridiculous, and their email CC support is brain dead. It is really frustrating. I would not be recharging my JioFiber connection for atleast 3 months.
