What's the best way to wire up my router to multiple devices with a 50-100 feet gap?

i think i paid 12 bucks per meter of cat6 few months ago. that cable is also installed outside facing the sun and usually works fine for many years before asking for replacement.

Any contact number or other info you can share? Will be helpful.

I mean you can ask him on the phone. I have never gotten done any visits at home through him.

Got it, thanks.

Waiting for the lockdown to open fully before I start on this project fully.

So, here's the update:

Found a chap who does wiring in Gurgaon (https://g.page/RSNS_CCTV?share). His charges are:
  • 35/meter for the wire (D-Link Cat 6, UTP - fine sine much of the area will be covered)
  • 15/meter for laying charges
  • D Link gigabit switch as per actuals
I'm gonna go ahead with him, at least the headache to install isn't on me.

He will share the model of the switch that he'll install, I'll ask y'all if it isn't good. Then maybe I can buy my own and just plug it in.

Question: How do I test his wire before he installs it? I just want to be sure of the quality before I invest time and money. I'm guessing plugging one end into my router, another into my laptop, and speedtest? What about latency/ping tests?

Ah ok. I was thinking more about testing my internet connection via the cable first. Will ask him to get a LAN tester though I doubt he'll have any.

Wire probably can only be checked by branding and connection speed after it is connected to a pc with router. If both router and ethernet port are gigabit, pc should show gigabit connection in network settings.
