My friend on Airtel VDSL told me that Valorant wasn't working on his PC (Valorant cant connect to servers or something like that). I told him initially to reinstall the game but that still didn't fix it.

Told him to do 'nslookup auth.riotgames.com' on Command Line and it turns out that 13.127.247.216 is returned as IP whereas on my PC (with encrypted DNS) it was returning 104.16.120.50 and 104.16.119.50 with hostname auth.riotgames.com.cdn.cloudflare.net

13.127.247.216 is an IP returned for blocked domains, if you enter this IP on your browser you'll get "Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. Please contact administrator for more information."

Turns out someone else also had a similar issue with blocking on Airtel (same IP returned) this is from months ago though:

After setting up encrypted DNS on his PC, the issue was fixed.

I'm certain that the blocking is accidental but still, I thought I thought I should share.
