Facebook Data Breach

So this database leak is only a part of the original database that folks were trying to sell last year, so very a limited dataset and does not have all information.
 
A couple of months ago I tried to login to delete an old facebook account that I scrubbed and deactivated a long time ago. They wanted me to provide my passport copy to proceed. Yeah right.

Literal Scum.

@royalroy Data is very casually handled in India. There are various files available online that have name, number, even full addresses of people. 3-4 years ago even electoral roll was easily available online.
 

The electoral roll is still available online on their website. It includes name, father's name and complete address.
 
^ is that why most banks and cc companies use mother's (maiden) name for security?
 
This actually is a big leak, but for some reason It doesn't feel so. Any information on if the ad manager's data was compromised as well?

And much much more. If you were to Google for example say something like
Code: 
 inurl:ekyc inurl:KYCDocument
you'll find hundreds of pages with PII.
