Google Pixel 6 - Google Pixel 6 Pro

And if Apple meaningfully joins them in offering spare parts to consumers — like it promised to do by early 2022 — the era of fixing your own phone may be underway. - The Verge

How long until something like this happens in India?

What do you mean? Entire markets will open up in India before you know it as soon as spare parts are available. There’s no lack of people willing to learn how to repair smartphones. Just the lack of spare parts has stalled them so far. China has plenty of unofficial spare parts and so entire markets devoted to smartphone/ electronics repair and upgrade.

These phones are manufactured in China, so it can never experience an issue with regards to shortage of spare parts.

I switched to one last week. Apart from the battery life not being amazing and the stupid curved screen, the phone is actually quite good.

I wanted a similar screen size after using the iPhone 12 pro max that was the main reason. I didn't check that the screen was curved otherwise might have reconsidered

Curved screen is one major reason I started disliking Pixel phones, and my admiration towards S22, grew.

How much screen-on time are you getting?

I just noticed that I am getting about 7 hours with 30% remaining on iPhone 13, I have been feeling that it's low. I guess I need to stop looking at the battery percentage. However, it's been one hell of a task to restrict background app usage and to make sure no app is keeping it awake. I mean, I literally spent about an hour changing each and every setting.

Mine is around 5-6 hours I think. Honestly if a phone lasts me a whole day, I don't bother with trying to optimize battery life. I haven't switched off 5G which I think is the biggest battery user since Google used an old modem on the pixel 6 phones. I never had any battery issues with the iPhone, it usually lasted me a day with 30% or so remaining
