  • AMB of Easy Access Savings A/C will be increased from 10k to 15k (Metro location)
  • Liberty and Prime A/C AMB increased from 15k to 25k (Semi Urban and Rural location)

Was thinking of opening an account with Axis as it was right below my building. Good time to give it a miss.
It must be due to their increasing percentage in Non-performing assets, since govt won't bail them.
 
Axis bank is the worst bank I ever experienced I've been on both sides of Axis bank as an employee and as well as a customer. I need to pay 4 lakhs to join Axis bank as an employee through their Young Bankers PG diploma programme. After joining they only give me sales targets every month and I need to do banking operations during sales. They won't give TA or official vehicle for field sales, need to call customers from personal numbers for sales effectively put my number on Truecaller's spam-list. From customer's view they charged for sms alert fee every quarter even though i disabled the service and they still haven't closed my account even though I repeatedly requested them to close it one of the shittest bank ever.
 
Oh Wow!!!

Was thinking of opening an account with Axis Bank and other circumstances delayed the process. Guess it was a blessing in disguise
