Airtel Broadband: Static IP with Airtel

Thank You Everyone Especially Sushubh For Helping Me Out I Finally Got My Static IP address after 21 days of effort. Finally My SQL Is Up!

How did u get static IP. I told the billing guy and the guys who came to my house for static ip but they don't they have no clue.
Been calling and texting in whatsapp for 2 weeks no response

What should I do? I bought it only for static ip

Follow this escalation path
1. 121@in.airtel.com - drop mail wait for 2 - 3 days
2. appellate <appellate@in.airtel.com drop mail wait for 7 days
3. Social Media Escalation - tweet to airtel_presence

I have sent the email to 121, let's see if they respond. I have requested for static ip, should I request for bridge mode also? I asked for 2 static IP. I'm guessing this is possible to achieve

Also I have the new router [Airtel New Router Link] will that work?

I have Nokia G-2425G-A. I am using LAN1 in bridge mode and configured static IP in pfsense.

Brother Write Email To Nodal officer and thereafter Appllate Authority By Email and also contact through twitter airtel_presence ( as was suggested to me by sushubh in this forum try it through multiple channels you will get your static ip it will take more time than usual.
 
Got the static IP long ago. Was able to test it only recently, and its working. But i noticed it wasn't in bridge mode. I lodged another complaint and a technical is being sent. Excellent support I have to say. At 12pm I lodged the complaint got a call at 4pm

The only people who can give you subnet mask, gateway etc is the backend network team. In most cases it will be done automatically in your Nokia (?) router/ONT. For your own router write to 121 at airtel dot in and ask them to obtain the info for you. Using your own gear makes you jump through additional hoops.
 
Hi guys. I have some queries regarding Airtel Xstream static ip. Any info is helpful.

1. Does PPPoE stop working as soon as Airtel assigns static ip?
2. Does Airtel static ip work on bridge mode on another router?
3. Can my own router have PPPoE and the Airtel ONT static ip at the same time, obviously on bridge mode?
4. Can Airtel ONT and my router have the same static ip if the router is in bridge mode?
5. Can I ask for two or more static ip from Airtel?

Basically, I want to opt for static ip, but at the same time do not want to lose the ability to use multiple PPPoE on bridge mode?

2. It can, you have to ask the engineer to do that for you.
3. Yet to find the answer of this question, hopefullt today.
4. Yes. It will be.
