Airtel has launched coverage + pod mesh routers for 999 and above plan users

Jio fiber (300 mbps), airtel fiber (200 mbps)
Airtel is now providing new router pods as add ons to plans costing rs999 and above.

2 pods cost is rs3999 and if you want to add more pods then each cost rs2499

these seems to be mesh routers

Seems like a good alternative to getting a C6 for extending coverage 🤔
 
These are great for folks who want a simple solution to improve coverage at their place. Even if these are not very high end. Eventually some tech blog would post details about these units if no one here gets them in coming days.
 
I am guessing these are Linksys velops by the shape of screenshot posted here.

@gopichandpai airtel app is soo weird, for one customer its showing less details and for other its showing full 😀 but now we know that its mesh solution at cheap price. I will try to order one and lets c if they have in stock
 
For me Airtel app is trying to play dumb with me. It shows ₹999, 2083 plan both offering upto 100 Mbps. I mean wtf!!! Who the hell is going to pay that amount with same speeds and some additional OTT services.
Maybe Airtel ain't paying the dev team to update details from back end.

Same here. Even airtel local engineer doesn’t know about that. No one knows anything.
