So, I belong to the Bihar Railwire region and I know the Kolkata server is down after the huge fire. But it is justified that I am getting 10-15 Mbps (I am on a 50mbps plan).
What you people should consider me to do? Should I ask them strictly to fix the issue or should I be lenient? The issue happens mostly during day time (8 AM-9 PM).
And during the night I am getting speed almost the same as promised speed.
What do you guys suggest?

Nothing less than what you want is ever justified in life.
Go and get what you want...😁

@subhash nagre man , you are getting 97-98 Mbps that is great to be honest . Right now i getting not more that 20mbps speed and on normally i iwll get max 44mbps . You should be happy to be hones lol . 😉

@shubash nagre , I don't have any other option man . I have BSNL and rail wire. At least railwire customer care picks call lol .
But yeah cost wise what we get is not enough. The cost is always much more higher than its competitor ( For ex: 799+18%) is what airtel charges for 100mbps UL(3.3TB) .
If any day I get any better option I will leave Railwire without any mercy -_-

I was getting 5-10Mbps in peak times and 20-40Mbps average on my 100Mbps plan. Also had extreme packet loss problems.

RailWire Customer Care were if you get less than 12.5Mbps in non-peak hours then complain. 😂 MSP was rude af and told me to disconnect connection if I have so much problems.

I have no option in my area, so I stayed. Now getting full 100Mbps speed most of the time. And 200Mbps on steam, so no problem now. Ping remains constant and facing negligible packet loss now. So, things might improve for you as well. 😂😂

@Zuke , yeah no government company cares for its customer. When I was using Airtel Broadband ( whn i was in Gurgaon) when I told them I want the connection to be closed as I don't think the cost what I am paying is good enough ( It was year 2017 , I was on 10mbps plan and was paying INR 1200 rs for 80GB FUP plan) they literally begged me to stay on their network. They even gave me 100 GB data extra on every month and waved off the router cost . ( that time we have to return the router , but i didn't return) .
I hope I get treated like that .

@JB701 I told them clearly that I get 20-40Mbps on average, so unless they are dumb, I don't think they will consider it 12.5MB/sec. They were like- you cannot always get full speed too even if it is fiber. So, I don't think they were confused.
