How to put Excitel provided Rs2000 ONT Router (OptiLink) in bridge mode. I want to make TPLink Archer A6 as my main router. Here is the model and firmware if anyone knows..how to do it.. plz help..

Also can it be done without the help of LCO?
Device modelOP-XONT71110AC
Hardware VersionV4.1
Firmware VersionV2.0.06-200831L

easiest solution would be to get local guy to replace it with the dump onu which costs 1000 bucks now? local guy here told me that they can put the wireless model into bridge mode as well. but from my understanding, the option is not available to user itself. so needs to be done at lco's end.

Okay.. so which option would be best?...

I am trying to setup one archer A6 as the main router and another archer a6 as an AP ( initially I was thinking to create a mesh network between them but it turns out TP-Link routers doesn't support Onemesh in AP mode... some D-Link and Asus AiMesh routers support mesh between routers ( both in router and AP mode) but they are too expensive... My budget is only 5-6K for 2 routers... and i don't want to use standalone access points cos LAN ports aswell)

If it's an optilink brand ont then just delete the wan configuration and it will be in bridge mode by default.

Of course you should know your connection login and configuration details like vlan id etc so you can set it up on your router.

I just know my PPOE login id and password.. have no idea what is vlan...
I have asked LCO to put router in bridge mode from his end... he said he will do so..

So LCO contacted me now saying that they can't put the router in bridge mode you need to contact excitel customer care.. so I contacted Excitel Customer Care both on chat and call, both times they said... they can't change this setiing and it is disabled for them aswell and some other BS... ... What to do now.. they don't have 750/100RS dumb onu in stock as of now...

I tried deleting WAN settings... it doesn't delete and a small popup window says: " 192.168.1.1 says don't delete this wan connection." I have tried factory reseting the router aswell but no luck...

If anyone knows any way to put this router in bridge mode... do help..

Still its not possible to use 2k ont in bridge mode due to mac binding. @Sushubh is right only ur lco can help. I tried myself when i had one but no use, i was able to use 2k ont in bridge mode when they change my onu to rs 750 before that the same router didnt work in bridge mode.

@Sushubh simple when i had 2k ont, i was unable to use it in bridge mode. When they replaced it with rs. 750 onu, i had that old Rs. 2k ont with me for 1 day. I tried to use it in bridge mode and it worked. Coz if u have Rs. 750 device then u can use any onu which is whitelisted on olt. In my case my 2k ont was already whitelisted so it worked. I have other non wifi onu also (not from excitel) but they won't work coz their macs are not whitelisted on olt. As per excitel Rs 2k device has mac binding and u can't use it in bridge mode due to that. Hope that i am clear.

@opomiyulen is right.. They use mac binding... JB701 explained the same thing to me ..

I have put up a ticket asking them to replace my ONU+wifi-ac combo with ONU 1G device.. they said it may take more than a month or two due to inventory issues... let's see.. in the meanwhille I am stuck with this Optilink router..
