When I saw that Bharat Fibre Superstar - 1 now gives 100Mbps till 1000 GB, I was thinking of downgrading from my existing 200Mbps plan. but there is no option to downgrade plan in selfcare portal. I think I will have to give in writing through LCO

My LCO had made it very clear that for any plan changes you will have to deal with BSNL directly as they do not have access.

^^lol BSNL,while every other ISP is making customer's life easy. They are busy taking away the last bit of convenience. Idiots
They ll die ,they have no perspective. I have lost all hope in them.
But I am still hopeful. As far as internet speed and downtime are concerned, in my area BSNL is far better than Jio fibre and others like M-Net, Catla, etc.

I'm on Fiber Ultra(300mpbs 4000GB FUP) but the usage portal shows a different plan for me. I'm still getting the Fiber Ultra speeds though. So, I don't know what to make of it.
if your bill is also according to that then you will be really lucky

The private isps will make your life easy untill they get enough customers , then only time can tell about their behaviour.

^^Allowing your customers to change plans online is not just making life easy, its a necessity in the age of 5g.

Might as well impose martial law ,reinstate ussr if state control would have been so much better ,but it isnt . BSNL was no 1 for years in brodband customer base but it took jio for the ftth from bsnl to rollout bigtime.
Bsnl was on a right trajectory for a few months but they are taking steps back and pointing that out is not being a capitalist.
or are you one of those who like breaking jio towers for democracy?

Let me be clear ,BSNL wont be re financed a 2nd time by the govt atleast for another decade,so pointing out thier mistakes is the only way to save them and make sure it isnt an all private telecom sector .

What will happen if the plans get removed after April 3rd ? I am currently on fiber value . Will I get automatically shifted to a similar plan / previous plan ?

Ended up submitting a physical request letter at the BSNL CSC near my house to get my plan changed to Super Star-1. Submitted the request at 11 AM or so, I could see the service request created in the system through Selfcare at 11:17 AM.

Got the Hotstar activation message at 1:30 PM or so. My previous plan was Fibre Value, so plan speed etc remains the same, just the quota gets reduced to 1000 GB and will get Hotstar premium.
