Airtel xstream Fiber voice calling in J&K?

Has anyone of you got voice calling service on airtel Fiber in Jammu and Kashmir?
I don't know why but my lco said it won't be coming in J&K anytime soon. Just confirming with you guys! Whether anyone of you from J&K has got voice calling services activated on their Airtel xstream Fiber connection?
 
Don't know about J and K but generally LCO cities are not getting VOIP at this moment. Here In Barabanki, they are testing VOIP.
 
Finally got a message from my lco that voice calling facility for my area will be available by this month end..
Right now the voip led on the ont doesn't even light up and in voice information shows no number and line disabled.

I hope it starts in my city too by the end of this month . One question, voice calling automatically started working ? Because right now voip led on my Nokia ont doesn't even light up. Was your voip led lighting up before landline service was started?
 
I have VOIP led ON and the profile also shows up in the ONT settings but LCO did not say anything about landline. What's the usual process to use your landline with xtreme fiber? Do I have to buy a phone myself and connect it to ONT? Any pointers?
 

Check in ont's voice information, whether it shows registered or not? Also try to call on the landline number one thing I know for sure it shouldn't say invalid number. you have to buy your own landline device and connect it via rj11 cable.

@blueman24 same for me. I am able to call only 121 or 198 from landline. And from my mobile to landline says invalid number. Technicians say landline is not at all active at my location. Once activated I will be able to make other calls. Contact customer care and share any update if it's not that case for you.

Are you from , is it available all over j&k or in some selected areas?
