Airtel XStream 3999 plan will come with a complimentary 1GBps Wifi Router

Does anyone have any more info on this ? Which router will they provide ? The article is vague
 
I wonder what kind of household would spend 4800 on an internet connection these days 😖
 
Router would be free to use na? When switching isp it must be returned or customer can retain it?
 
you guys do realize that this would very likely require locked prepaid payment for the whole year? or it would be provided on rental basis that would required to be returned with security taken in advance.
 
They were not offering a 1 gbps capable router before?

Also what does that even mean, technically even the cheap AC1200 are capable of 1 gbps but you'd never get that in real life
 
this would be similar to the 8-10K routers that can actually support 1gigabit on wifi. cheaper routers divide bandwidth between 2.4Ghz and 5GHz. this would probably be a AC1900 or ac2100 router.
