We need to see what each app offers and then use/modify our use accordingly. No single app would provide all what a person needs. Each of the above mentioned apps are created with specific use-case, people in mind. Whatsapp with its new approach has finally given the nudge to what should have been done long time.. choosing apps which best meets your requirements.

When I tried to move my cousins WhatsApp group to Telegram, one of my cousins she put a very stiff resistance “kya mera data leke karega Zuckerberg uncle? I have nothing to hide, my life is open book bla bla bla” My mom has just started using WhatsApp. It would be impossible to make her switch and re-learn Telegram.
You can use the Android Work profile to isolate stuff if you don't have Secure Folder. You can freeze apps that you don't use.

I guess most of us are facing the same reaction. In fact I now don't get involved in any discussions in different groups I have to interact with, I just say what I am doing & everyone should due their own 'due diligence'. Many friends ask me for link I used when I deleted my FB account. 🤦😏 Even for that they want spoon feeding.

Frankly regarding Signal I feel its too good to be true
Telegram for now may get benefit of doubt. At the end of the day we are making a choice in darkness & hoping for the best. 😏

A v small synopsis of what people come up with. And this from a CA who was looking after IT in muscat.😁
It works fine to message strangers who are not in your contact list. I used once to message a guy with whom I was sharing ride by his car.
Also just 2 days back used Truecaller voice to make call to another stranger who has sent me money by mistake to my mobile number through UPI. That voice call was also fine.
