Or they can completely ditch 4g altogether and instead focus their resources building a 5g ecosystem. They already have the largest optical fibre connectivity in india, they only have to leverage it and by the india is 5g ready and they can start directly 5g services along with other private operators.BSNL & MTNL should stick with FTTx/Wireless internet services and ditch 2G/3G/4G altogether.

Yes that would be good but still won't be enough to keep up with competition, due to the non availability of capacity spectrum, especially in urban areas. The govt should have helped them in participating in this year auctions.i think govt should give 5mhz on 700mhz band free to bsnl pan India.
