Surprising to see VI bought 900Mhz in Tamil Nadu.
So either you can get 256 QAM or 4x4 mimo, but you don't have much choice if you have flagship devices than that device most probably supports both 256 QAM and 4x4 mimo but Airtel will only give you 4x4 mimo and disable 256 QAM and if your device doesn't support 4x4 mimo you might get 256 QAM ( I got 256 QAM once but they disabled for me qs I haven't got it since then. )Airtel wont let devices with with 256QAM support to use 4*4 MIMO. This is a shady practice by them to limit the speed
Here's what I think Jio will be doing. They will be using B40 for capacity as you know all phones by default lock on to B40 wherever the signal is available due to being the largest band. So, Jio will use 40MHz of B40 in CA along with 10 of b3 and b5 to get these speeds. Say, 600Mbps is possible with a 4CA 800Mbps modem.@JamesHolden25 with this paltry spectrum jio wants another 300 million customers 😂😂

Are the TDD configs you told me on TT the same as in this chart? Special config 7 and TDD config 5?
I disabled 256QAM as I believe Jio won't add it so that they can enhance capacity to more devices. I also believe that Jio will keep the upload at 16QAM as it's evident that Jio hates speedy uploads. The crappy upload speed is why I hate TDD.
But anyway, I feel Jio will be bringing Wifi networks with symmetrical speeds on both upload and download.
