It is with great sorrow that I write today regarding my BSNL FTTH service experience. While your service has never had problems before, recently I have experienced severe interruptions to my Internet as well as slow speeds and problems with calling(landline). I believe that because I have not received the service I am paying for (namely, Internet).

The problem began on last year when I(retard) went for BSNL instead of Jio, when my Internet went fine for several days and later started the real problem. I established that the problem was not my computer or the wireless connection, and then contacted LCO about the service interruption. LCO claimed that he would get it repaired right away several times. No repairman was sent for another two days for most times. The disconnection period was more than period I was connected.

The problem continued throughout Jan and into Dec. I have established to my satisfaction that the problem is beyond my control, and that my LCO is not providing the service I am paying for. I work online, so it is essential that I have Internet that is functional. I was annoyed by the pathetic plans I was paying for,For some lucky reason they announced new plans due to competition. Though the claimed speeds were only on downloads that with varying speeds . After spending 10 long years with BSNL from (ADSL) 60 Kbps to (FTTH)100 Mbps. Routing and gaming is under par as well.

Now that I have Airtel FTTH and Jio FTTH connections offering ,I wish to choose any of this over BSNL pathetic service. I, Bid adieu to all the BSNL comrades suffering from the issue I have been experiencing. Time to switch to better ISP in case you have them(only for comrades experiencing same issue as me also for those serious gamers). Happy new year!

I have Alphion OnT in case anyone needs one.

So is it Jio or Airtel now ?

I would say airtel's routing was the best, looking at the reviews of high ping from multiple users across the country specifically the ones on LCO based plans

As far as i know only fiber infra in access network is managed and maintained by lco. The olt and fiber distribution box is sole property of their own and lco has no access to it.

Do tell us if you get your Security Deposit back. I wish you all the best

Well, Good news I got disconnected successfully from BSNL Crap.

@shashankb I don't think if I will ever get back my money since it's transferred from funds they get from center ,which they wont since they are unable to pay for their employees itself.

@Sudarshan61 @koushik In my place Airtel fiber is again private LCO occupied plus they don't even know about ping and stuff just the guy was telling me that he will take Airtel FTTH tender and give connection didn't care to share details of routing and other stuff I asked. Don't think I would get good service from them from past experience. Just checked Jio fiber pings under 30 almost all games like valorant csgo have good pings, speeds upto 200 Mbps. Jio service is also best here so I decided to go with it.

@Prashanth Cheers bud. Wish you move from this Bsnl crap asap.
