What do you mean third party. okay first party is me, second is you third is utorrent. I installed and eventually uninstalled a couple of softwares for site leeching. and ya I installed httrack or something.

May be the software you installed, automatically registered the components for Sify Guard.

cancer10, as you suggested to reinstall os,but after that the problem doesn't solvedso i tried other thingsand finally it is found that the problem may be occuring here= 🙂 my system uses resolution of 1024x768 pixels and its DPI is 120 dpii use little large fonts because with 96 dpi[default in most systems] system is not usable but when i changed dpi to 96 dpi your sify guard showed with all the menus,etcit means sifyguard has problem working with large fonts?so check sifyguard in your system with 120dpi and can you find any solution for it,thx

have u tried running sify guard on ur system with 120dpi settings
[to change dpi setting on xp(display properties-->settings-->advanced-->general= choose 120 dpi)]
does it then shows menu etc?
or a better way could be
either
set ur system in 120dpi and then recompile sifyguard3

Sify Guard works fine on my PC under 120 DPI.Why dont you set your settings to 96 DPI?
thats strange because both os [xp & 2k]on my system are able to run sifyguard in 96dpi only.at 120 dpi nothing shows .i reason 120 dpi is setted- system is not easily workable under 96 at 1024x768 at 17"so could you load sifyguard's source code somewhereso i can recompile it in my systemor do u have some other suggestion?
I have the same config as ursI have a 17'' monitor with 1027 X 768 desktop resolutionwith 96 dpiIt works fine on mine,
