The COVID Vaccine Intelligence Network (Co-WIN) system — a digitalised platform — will be used to track enlisted beneficiaries for the vaccination and anti-coronavirus vaccines on a real-time basis. At the vaccination site, only pre-registered beneficiaries will be vaccinated in accordance with the prioritisation. There will be no provision for on the-spot registrations.

"The latest electoral roll for Lok Sabha and legislative assembly election will be used to identify the population aged 50 years or more," the central government said recently.

Twelve photo-identity documents, including Voter ID, Aadhar card, driving license, passport and pension document, will be required for self-registration on the Co-WIN website, it added.

from the looks of it, it might be better to just pay to get the vaccine if this is how they are planning to do it.

and this is why i would not be getting the vaccine for a long time to come. not till they make it available on demand without any form of absurd registration or anything. or they make it mandatory to do simple life stuff like having a bank account or paying income tax return. which we all know is going to happen. they would make entry prohibited in metros, railway stations, airports eventually without a proof of vaccination. and of course rwas and societies would make it mandatory to enter their areas.

My mother would be getting vaccinated early I guess, she's a healthcare worker. Her organization has already filled the forms if I'm not wrong.

I don't think most of us (young people below 40-50) would get vaccinated in next 6 months.

or Technical Guruji...

@SVK - I like your optimism of calling people over 30, but under 40-50 young 😛

I am assuming that in terms of pricing, the Oxford one being the cheaper would probably be the one that gets given at a larger scale.
