Just to mislead the general public and score political points. Politicians know only one thing to divert the attention of public. Suddenly the discussion has changed in MH from badly handling second wave to vaccine scarcity.

Even Pfizer & Moderna vaccines have caused rare blood disorders in USA which is getting less media publicity. Difficult to trust the big pharma corporates.

India has nandan nilekani. World has Bill Gates.

So what’s the truth? Is there really a vaccine shortage or it’s all just false?

There is really a shortage in some states. While some districts are showing shortage some don't. I think there is a distribution issue as well within the states by the respective state govt. At least this is the case in Odisha here from what I have read.
