Hi,
I am looking for a smartphone with good overall user experience around 15K

Hard Limit:17K
Phone Life Expectancy : 3 yrs.

What do I mean by good overall user experience?
I'm going for Pixel like user experience, with good software support ,security updates for 1-2 yr.
Fluid UI transitions, no hanging(as low as possible UI latency), minimum bloatWare , reliable.( Latest and Greatest Android Version is not required)
If these are not present then reliably FLASHABLE with good mainstream ROMs support both software and hardware wise.
There are certain strict requirements like:
1.) No Ads (I've recently heard that Xiaomi offerings in this range have Ads)
2.) Build Quality- Phone must be durable and comfortable to use(shouldn't be too much heavy)

What do I expect in hardware/specs?
This phone will be mostly used for Calling, Social Media, Internet eXploring, Reading.
So not a strong or say 'over the top' specs are required.
I do not believe that you can deliver a buffet of hardware specs at this price, without comprising on quality and I feel companies do bundle on a lot of low quality hardware to allure 'specs-focused' Indian customers. So give me just good enough reliable HW not the latest and greatest.

A good enough camera for document scanning is enough.

What are top 3 things you expect in hardware?
1.) Build Quality
2.) Processor with good thermals
3.) RAM

ENDING NOTE: The phone doesn't have to be the best. It should be just good enough.

OnePlus is crap in terms of quality?
I think he must be talking about N100 and N 10 5g. It was fine till Nord, but those above models seems to be getting a lot of flak.

@Realme just a heads-up.. if you are an Airtel user and use Airtel thanks app, you might endup in a bootloop on miui version 12.0.5.0. The app works fine on earlier version of miui 12. 0.2.0. It's a known issue and they are working on it.

Sorry for hijacking this thread.
My friend is looking for a smartphone under 20k.
I had suggested him Realme 7 Pro.Seems the best overall smartphone under 20k.
But came to know that Realme UI is shit and full of bugs. Is that so?
It isn't even stable enough to be used as a daily driver?
The only other option worth considering is Poco X3 then but it is quite big and bulky.
He isn't going to flash Custom ROMs and just wants a smooth experience for 3-4 years which is the average life of these cheap smartphones.
Would have recommended him a Samsung but he installs way too many apps and Exynos would lag a lot then.

Already replied to you on techenclave.
No one will be able to give complete on RealUI bcoz it's only 11 months since launch.
No android phone is going to give you smooth experience for 3-4 years. Sooner or later, it will start to lag.
If he wants just casual use and if weight is so much of an issue, go with 7 pro.
If you want an optimised and mature OS go fo miui on poco.
It depends what you demand from your phone.
If weight is an issue why not try for Poco M2 Pro. Heard poco M3 is also launched. Do check it's specs, if your friend can wait.

Haven't experienced much bugs on Realme 7 pro yet. But not sure.

Moto G 5G is going on sale on 7th Dec with the claim of cheapest 5G phone at 21k, in case you want a bit future proof on that. Comes with stock android. Not Amoled though.
