OnePlus is losing focus. Launching new smartphones after every few months with little to no improvements.
Wonder what would happen now that Carl Pei has left?

Most of the people I know who are using OnePlus phones keep them for well above two years. So this company seems to be focusing on getting new customers rather than expecting the existing to upgrade. As long as new phones with minor changes are getting good sales, they wouldn't really care.

Yup, most of the brands are doing the same. Realme, Redmi, Oppo, Apple etc. It makes sense for the companies too buy giving 1-2 features and charging 5-6 times it's cost as the previous generation phone's value depreciates.
And in a country like India which is gung-ho over specs, this is the best marketing strategy.

Yeah, I have never been a fan of Samsung when it comes to smartphones. Personal preference, I don't like their branding on phones.

OnePlus 9 Pro will pack a 6.78" QHD+ 120Hz curved screen while corroborating a previous leak that claimed the vanilla 9 will sport a 6.55" FullHD+ 120Hz flat display.

Both smartphones will have a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood, and machine translation suggests they will ship with 4,500 mAh batteries, which will likely support 65W wired charging. The Pro variant is said to feature 45W wireless charging as well.
