Reliance Jio Fiber router username password?

Hello guys,

i tried to access and make some settings changes to my jio fiber router but not able to do so. when i try to login it says that my username/password is wrong. i tried default admin login as well but it's not working.
can someone guide me how to get username/password for my router?

Do a factory reset and then use these credentials.

Username : admin
Password : Jiocentrum

Hiya, has this worked for you? Were you able to login to the router, no issues? I've had a very frustrating chat with the customer support who said they've restricted access for customers now so wondering if factory reset will give me access. I ain't very tech savvy but I dislike my choices being taken away so like to do anything to get control back from the big guys. Appreciate a response.

  • Type 192.168.29.1 in the browser to log in to web configuration utility.
  • Enter ‘admin‘ as username and ‘Jiocentrum‘ as a password.
  • Create a new password (Example: dealNtech123@) and click on save button.
  • Once credentials are updated successfully, you need to re-login with the new password.
  • Now you will be taken to the router admin homepage where you will see 6 options: Dashboard, Status, Network, Security, Administration & Advanced.

There is no default password for the Jio router anymore. They've pushed a firmware upgrade and now the 'Jiocenterum' password is not going to work anymore. If you are facing the same issue, kindly follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Download the JioHome app (JioHome - Control Smart TV & STB with Smart Home App)
2. Authenticate using your registered mobile number
3. You'll get an option to set a new password for the router's web interface then and there, upon first login.
