honestly this is crazy rate limting, this is almost 80 percent lower than the promised speed, the idiot who setup the qos is an absolute moron, i get 8 mbps on fast.com,
Anyones knows if i can opt for a plan change twice in a month ?, i want to switch to the fiber basic as speeds have remained this way for the past couple of days and makes no sense paying more,when the reality is almost 80 percent lower than the speed your paying for,(just checked selfcare fiber basic has been removed from the list)
Also how do i know if this rate limiting from congestion on the downstream bandwidth is on the access network of lco or the core network throttling the speed ? the last i heard the LCO was using an EPON OLT and onboarded a lot of customers all on a 1 gbps downlink epon link with no idea how much of split ratio he opted for
