Is there a fair usage policy on Excitel Broadband?

Interesting observation. They have two terms & conditions pages but the other one isn't directly linked on the home page. One for Delhi region and the other one is generic it seems.

So the Delhi region tnc page has this listed under #5: Terms & Conditions - Excitel
Excitel Broadband reserves the right to end/ suspend/modify the benefit at all times, as well as in specific cases of commercial use, or any fraudulent use.

But there's no mention of this on the current tnc page here, Terms & Conditions | Excitel Broadband

I think the Delhi page is referring to specific offer

My point is they don't mention account suspension in their current terms & conditions.

This isn't commercial usage though, and what's fraudulent usage?

Interesting development. I have an old account that I used to chat with a cse just now and she was unable to find my id in the system, so it disappeared without a trace it seems. I actually have 4 different accounts, including the current one, I have been a customer since 2016 or so.

I doubt theyll reconnect you. Only lco is the hope.
Don't expect anything from excitel customer care.

seems like they keep changing their limit.
when my account got suspended on 25 dec 2018 I downloaded about 1tb in 7 days.


ps: Just remembered a funny thing , when I called customer care after account got suspended the customer care guy told me "Sir YOU DOWNLOADED 1000GB IN 7 DAYS . . . SIR THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE !" 🤣

thats when I knew there was no point talking to customer care and promptly called my lco.
