I have BSNL FTTH connection. From past two weeks, the PON light starts blinking everyday between 12-4 pm and becomes normal after that. The stats are as follows:

(when blinking)
Transmit Optical Power: -40dbm
Receiving Optical Power: -26 to -28

(when not blinking)
Transmit Optical Power: 2.6dbm
Receiving Optical Power: 26.4dbm

I have called LCO several times but he keeps telling that nothing is wrong from their side. Also, since the internet comes back automatically I can't argue with him. You guys are my lost hope.
(I almost broke into tears while writing this)
PLEASE HELP!!!

@varkey bro I saw you solved other's problem! I am facing the same problem, I beg you to please help me bro 🙏 No one has even bothered to reply me, I am in grave despair, PLEASE HELP!!!

Most of the time everything works fine , means ONT and fibre seems to be perfect.
Transmitting power changes with time , so if i assume your household power supply is perfect , then nothing is wrong at your side.
So, what i can predict is there is certain problem in settings from LCO side itself. I am not sure , but ask them only to check at their end. Please let me know in case your problem gets resolved. For once I was also been bsnl customer, in case you have contact no. of those employees (those who work/clear fault), then try contacting them directly.

@stable person I contacted my LCO, there was some problem in the splicing of one of the joints in the fiber, they repaired it and my problem is solved. Thanks for concerning!

@varishth11 can you please tell me the exact location (if possible) where there was splicing problem ? Means i want to know , wheather that fibre was inside your home or was it outside your house , and also it would be great if you could tell how they detected the fault.

The problem in the splicing could be anywhere but in my case it was near my house, they used a TDR machine to detect and repair it. You just need to tell them the problem, they will act accordingly.
