A lot of information about Jio’s 5G technology is clouded right now. While they do have the finances to back it up, 5G deployment will be harder than LTE. Plus, nobody knows how their indigenous tech will work out. Maybe it’ll be perfect, who knows....but it’s unproven for now.

What will happen to the other TSPs if Jio drives out the global network infra manufacturers? Will Airtel/Vi/BSNL be forced to buy from Reliance?

They are saying they are ready for 5g by next year, at the same time airtel is talking about tariff hikes on 4g

if Jio is running NSA 4G will play a key role in load balancing, if they are going for SA they need lot of spectrum in 600-900Mhz for 5G coverage, if they really doing SA it will take a lot of time money and costs to deploy 5G

Look at this performance from Vi its stunning, btw its near site

@Luifer yes they are having 12.4Mhz of B8 but actually they only running 10Mhz on some sites using DSS (Dynamic Spectrum Sharing), resources are shared between 2G/4G many sites still running only 5Mhz

Most users are moving out of Vi or using it as secondary connection. So their data network load is lower.
not the case here most subscribers are of Vi in Kerala, While Jio is 2nd and airtel is last, while Vi's Top earning circle is Kerala having 60Mhz of spectrum for 4G which is crazy

Yeah even in my home, ,wherever points I am getting 4g ,I.am getting good speeds ,like 20 to.35 mbps, that too on single band 3 20mhz, and the cell site is like 1 km away from my home.

No phones in 15K which supports 3CA only 2CA that is 40-40 CA phones are in the range not even proper 2CA support Below 20K , But if u can wait for some days may get the supported CA combos from Moto G 5G maybe it may support 3CA but can't confirm now
