Poor network everywhere and Volte/Vowifi not working

So, my Sim is a Vodafone 3yr old 4G sim Maharashtra home network. I used to get a very poor network at my home in Bihar.
After Vodafone and Idea rebranding to VI. The network went poorer.
Now even outside, in the city or say the state, I have verified and it never goes more than -95dbm.

I raised several complaints on the app and Twitter. And they all were responded as "Hi! We already have on-air sites in this area & with current sites prevailing too, no further coverage enhancement is currently feasible. However, we are in process to prioritize your area to ensure better coverage".

Now about Volte/Vowifi, so I am in the roaming since the last year 2019 November. I never saw a Volte network. After researching how to receive the Volte signal, I got to know it needed to be activated by Cc. I followed the process but failed to receive any Volte signal. After a number of follow-ups with their team through Twitter and calls. I was lastly told in May 2020 that as I was in roaming, the Volte service could not be activated. But I was surprised the day before yesterday when I was in UP, I started seeing Volte network, even when the network was very very poor. But as soon as I entered Bihar, the Volte signal disappeared. I have raised a complaint again with Cc about this and yet to receive a comment. But if anyone has a similar experience, please share.

lol Vodafone doesn't have VOLTE Services in Bihar they have not launched VOLTE in Bihar

@amalrakoff How can you say this? Do you have any links to support?
I talked with their CC a number of times and they never mentioned such a thing.
Also, I believe it's now PAN India if note earlier than after Vodafone and Idea merger.

And Yeah. My IDEA sim has been using Volte for a very long time.

@imdarkray @ak8757 is from Jharkhand and he has Vodafone sim (home circle sim, Bihar and Jharkhand are combined into one circle), while he contacted support they mentioned that Vodafone VOLTE is not launched in Bihar

Idea sims does have VOLTE so, another Vodafone sim having VOLTE?

@amalrakoff yes. btw all vodafone and idea sim is just VI now, no more Vodafone or Idea.

@imdarkray sims maybe Vi, while taking a vi sim the retailer or the showroom agent can choose between Vodafone and Idea ,still there are 2 operators Vodafone and idea are still present they are using different network core still operating differently only the radio and network side integration is completed in Bihar while in other states its still going on so after that's complete then only those Vodafone and idea will disappear. both running different IMS (VOLTE) Config so that also differs between circles, now basically there is an anchor network which is the main network for ex here in Kerala the main network is IDEA and i am using Vi postpaid which runs on Vodafone core (all postpaid sims run on Vodafone Core) it still using vodafone ims still using vodafone's ambr limit and i have both sims Vodafone and idea you can try opening your APN Settings there is an MNC and MCC code which will specify which operator it is while mine still says its Vodafone

in BH and JH you won,t get Volte on Vi if its vi(vodafone) and you will get volte if its vi(idea).You can check you have vodafone or idea in vi by checking apn settings as @amalrakoff said

I am from Jharkhand, i dont get volte because cc said reason is my phone doesnt support 2100mhz on which vi volte works, device Redmi note 7s(lavender), whereas jio volte works fine

I am using Vi volte on Redmi note 7 pro, samsung s7 edge, you have to mannually call them to activate it, but the CC guy did not even know what PING means!!!!!

They are trying to fool you
1st they don,t have 2100mhz for 4G in JH.2100mhz still running as 3G.
2nd Redmi note 7s supports all bands used in india including 2100mhz
3rd vi has 4G on b3 only in JH and you will get Volte on it easily if you are using idea Vi sim but won,t get Volte on VF Vi Sim in BH and JH telecom Circle.
Regarding Vowifi vi has not yet started it in india

I have noticed that when I didn't had any active plan on my Idea (VI) MH number, only incoming was working, then VoLTE was also not displayed. But when I recharged by Rs 49 to start Outgoing, VoLTE also appeared. Not sure if VoLTE is related to active plan on our prepaid number.

Port to Jio or Airtel. Because for the same pricing shitty services are not what you deserve. Also, VI is in a sinking boat, losing a lot of subscribers. It is just a matter of time.
