The saddest part is no isp except Railwire is available where i live. its my only option. The LCO feels that i would downgrade to a lower cost plan😅 if he shares the plans.

Which plan are you into?

I believe RailWire only targets the area where people with no broadband facilities lives i.e. small villages or small towns.
Bro I have been using Railwire for few months now and took JioFiber 3 days back. Believe me JioFiber is shit. On Railwire, my ping is 35ms for Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi etc. but on JioFiber, Chennai is 70ms, Mumbai 80-90ms minimum; Singapore is 120+ which was 70ms on Railwire

Well I took RailWire just because they are the only one here with FTTH, and now that I have gaming IP, i kinda regret asking for it, because I mainly play Valorant and ping went from 32 - 38 (Mumbai) to 55 - 60 (Mumbai), 60 - 65 (Singapore 1) to 70 - 75 (Singapore 1) but NAT type went from Strict to Moderate and CSGO pings have reduced drastically, speeds are more or less the same but pings do feel a bit more consistent.
I think I will try out gaming IP for a few days, if not satisfied i will revert back.

Do you have Jio Fiber in Jharkhand? I think the Jio Fiber connection is new and that why the PING are high but it may reduce down in sometime. You are lucky to have Jio Fiber but we are left with no hope other than RailWire

In BBSR, there are alot of ISP providers like WEFE, Jio Fiber, Jet Spot, Jet Fiber, Hathway and Airtel Xstream Fiber is also planning to enter BBSR but I am surprised you still use RailWire in a smart city like BBSR.

because I do not have anyone, practically anyone here, and no, all of them are pretty bad like hella bad, Jio is maybe good but not as good as RailWire when it comes to speeds and pings, pricing yes. I have tried many ISPs, none of them are in my area. My last resort was RailWire, I was kinda saved by them. I'm so far pretty happy with their services (Just been 2 months tho).

I do have Jio Fiber cables in my area (since 2 years now), no services yet.

I am pretty surprised that there is no stable and good ISP in a place like BBSR and glad to hear that RailWire is serving good in your area. In Jaleswar our small town we have RailWire, BSNL Fiber and Optinet powered by Airtel bandwidth which is doing damn good in case of PING and speed and now one likes RailWire cause of their PING which is 18 to 35 and that is when almost 85 % of the customers in our town have shifted to Optinet which is 2ms to 3ms in PING.

I mean their CC is pretty great for a me, I was surprised they sent an actual guy when i complained about ping, and they fixed the ping issues and they actually do know what is ping and stuff. it's just that the plans are eh, pretty bad, i just want Unlimited plans, after that RailWire would be perfect for me.

Jio fiber has been here since a long time. My friends in Ranchi have been using it for more than a year now. Even in my city, one of my friends took the connection in May 2020. In my locality, it is relatively new: around 1 month.
Coincidently, one of my friends took the connection on the same day in a city around 70KM from my place(in JH). When I checked his pings, it's almost same as mine, if not better. I don't think Jio customers even care about ping here as they mostly use it for streaming so that leaves little scope of improvement.

The primary reason why it's poor is because the ping for Kolkata itself it 35-40ms, which on Railwire is 6ms for me and I guess the route is My city-> Kolkata->Mumbai/Chennai/Delhi etc.

That is just for RailTel server, but ya, usually RailTel (even here in Bhubaneswar) have better pings than Jio Fiber, yesterday night almost everyone in our town had their routing changed from Kolkata NOC to Hyderabad NOC (i guess), not sure as to why tho, but everyone now has Moderate NAT and 103.77.xx.xxx IP range. Is it just us or somone else noticed this too?

Actually, I have a friend who works for my local ANP and he told me that they are going to put a new server in Bhubaneswar and they are working on it for a long time after which there is will be very less issue related to PING and stuffs. In addition to it, even for me back in October there was very less PING issue. I used to get around 9 - 10ms in Jaleswar town but later when I got to hear that they are working on server and related things PING started to get rock and roll. Even for me now we are routed to Hyderabad server. They said maybe in February 2021 this issue will get over and we may get to see new tariff plans for Odisha circle and they are working on it.
