i get 15-20ms to this 75.2.66.166 ,99.83.136.104 ip's. my friends from chennai get 1ms (Act, Airtel). so i need to check if anybody from chennai bsnl ftth get 1ms to those ip's. If someone on chennai gets 1ms to this ip then bsnl's routing might be improved now(0.001% probable). pls help with results.Post trace routes also if you have extra time.

What I am guessing is that you're trying to improve your ping in valorant(Looking at the IPs). The IPs belong to AWS which in India, is only at Mumbai. So even if your friends are getting 1ms to those IP, their ping cannot be below 20-25ms from Chennai. I get around 40ms ping to both the IP and sometimes even 33ms but my in-game ping is never below 58-60ms. Although I should be getting 40-50ms at max. I have raised this with valorant support so maybe they can fix it.

@WandereR They are not aws ip's .but they are aws acclerator ip's . In game ping = (ping to this ip's) +(24ms for me since i am located in tn ). Your ping should be below 35ms if you are on good ftth connection.

@Prashanth AWS Accelerator, yes. But they only optimize your route, they don't shorten the physical distance. The Main servers where the game is hosted is still in Mumbai, and no matter what, you cannot get pings below 20-25ms(I'm assuming your ping to other Mumbai servers are 20-25ms).

My ping to other mumbai servers are not that good . it should not be above 30ms. But using bsnl i get 40-45ms (Ping test ).I agree i can't get below 25ms to mumbai valorant servers. But this post is just to assume about bsnl's routing issue. If bsnl is good ,someone (bsnl user)from chennai should get 1ms to those ip' s and physical distance matters in my case. I will prove you , once someone from chennai posts ping response to those ip's. bsnl is beyond physical distance!!!

I got below from Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

I don't think anyone from Chennai will get 1ms to those IP addresses. Those are based in Mumbai and it's not possible to get 1ms from Chennai even if the routing is done perfectly.

And as WandereR said, you might get low ping if you're pinging to those because Amazon routes your traffic to the nearest server location. However, in game ping gonna be higher because the server is located in Mumbai.
