I am not a Jio Customer, but basically if you require Jio to do the installation again they will charge you installation charges, it may not be same charge of New installation if they have separate charges for shifting.
They wont do shifting even within area, instead they will ask you to cancel the existing plan and ask to go ahead with new registration. They will not refund any amount too. This is how Jio makes profit.
@WandereR because currently im experiencing the same. I shifted my house within 10 km radius, i asked for transfer of connection. They said that they will not do transfer and instead asked me to disconnect existing connection and buy new one. i was ready for that. but then they said that i will not get any refund from my old connection. I paid 14k and used only for 5 months. 8 more months balance.
I had got my connection shifted in 2km area and same for some friends.
you can raise the request with Jio call center, get a SR and then ask local engineer to shift connection.
They have procedure and steps for connection shift.
