can i get jio fiber service somewhere else if i shift my location temporarily for some months?

can i get jio fiber service with same number in some other location if i shift my location?will there be 1000 charge for installation again there too in new location where i shift?
 
I am not a Jio Customer, but basically if you require Jio to do the installation again they will charge you installation charges, it may not be same charge of New installation if they have separate charges for shifting.

If connection is a available at that area. You can request for shifting.
I asked installation guy. he said it's free.
Enquire local guy.

They wont do shifting even within area, instead they will ask you to cancel the existing plan and ask to go ahead with new registration. They will not refund any amount too. This is how Jio makes profit.

@WandereR because currently im experiencing the same. I shifted my house within 10 km radius, i asked for transfer of connection. They said that they will not do transfer and instead asked me to disconnect existing connection and buy new one. i was ready for that. but then they said that i will not get any refund from my old connection. I paid 14k and used only for 5 months. 8 more months balance.

I had got my connection shifted in 2km area and same for some friends.
you can raise the request with Jio call center, get a SR and then ask local engineer to shift connection.
They have procedure and steps for connection shift.

@Rajneesh Rana see below email today from Jio Fiber. My new building already have all set up of Jio. they are ready to offer new connection here, but not transfer.

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

We have received your email seeking relocation for your JioFiber account.
As of now, due to unavoidable technical reasons we are unable to process your request for Relocation.

We request you to kindly check feasibility of new address and register your interest at Register for New Broadband Internet Connection - Jio Fiber

If new address is feasible our Sales Representative will contact you for new connection.

If new address is non-feasible, we request you to please call us at 1808969999 to cancel your existing JioFiber connection.

Don't go for Jio at all. They are not able to provide relocation. Imagine that though Jio has services in both places (old existing address and new address as well) but they want you to buy a new Jio connection for the New address as "Due to some unavoidable technical issues" which they never disclose, they can't shift/ relocate your connection) This is despite having a prepaid one year membership plan. Jio wants to make quick money through customer to make up their earlier spends. When I complained to Appellate Tribunal of Jio, I only received emails stating that they will revert with 24 hours. Believe me, even after 55 emails, no one from Jio Appellate Tribunal contacted me. Its a big nexus. Avoid getting in Jio trap

True and never expected this from jio and for me act is better that jio
