You just need to enter the 12 character version. In the 16 character serial, first 8 if converted from hex to ascii should give you 4 characters. Append the last 8 hex digits to it.
This helped in connecting the ONT.
It seems to be connected to OLT and PON light is stable as well.
But unable to create PPPoE or Bridge mode connection from this new ONT.
Any ideas?

Are you entering your actual BSNL FTTH account username and password?

no settings are required. Generally bsnl is providing 1gbps modem. The modem has 2 port, one is limited to 100mbps while other has 1gbps, so use the port 2 instead of port 1 to get maximum speed.

@varkey @anubhav11 Screw this! I am returning this ONU. Please do tell me an ONT that will surely work with BSNL ftth. What If I buy Huawei ONT with GE port in it. Will that work? Current ONT was great but all 4 Lan ports are FE ports so I had to buy Genexsis ONT which unfortunately didn't work as well. Please if anyone is selling ONT with GE port that will be able to clone my current GPON ONT. Thanks
