Issues setting Netlink ONU in Bridge mode

I recently upgraded to 200mbps plan and bought a Tenda AC10 dual-band router. I want to set my existing ONU in bridge mode and connect it via ethernet to AC10. I already tried the steps mentioned in Netlink Bridge Mode without port / mac reset | BSNL Bharat Fiber but as soon as I apply the settings, the internet connection drops. Can anyone please help me configure ONU properly.
